It's even harder to wrestle under control than 7 is tho; you can disable UAC in 7 with the click of a button, in Vista you can only sorta stop it from being annoying via the control panel... it takes much more voodoo to actually get rid of it. 7 is just like Vista, polished. But yeah, the default settings are all geared for first-time computer users.
