I consider it to be an anti-noir fic, in a sense, in that it follows the general &amp;quot;dark realism&amp;quot; trend of noir stories, but by portraying it in a way that (I hope, at least) is both funny and an interesting parallel to the much more Ponyville style of life that still exists within the same in-story universe.</html>
