(videogameponies)"><span class="fn nickname">vgp</span></a></span> In other other news, I took my DS to a shop today to see if they could repair it -- turns out the damage was.. well, the worst-case scenario that I had considered. The ribbon cable for the top screen is physically damaged and needs to be replaced. And at the price it would cost to get a new ribbon cable -- if I even HAD that much money to spare -- I may as well just get a new DS. Hell, I saw one on Amazon that was $6 cheaper.
