 <html>I like watching older cartoons with CGI on Hulu because they’re USUALLY upscaled to HD (or somewhere close, it’s reasonably easy to do with film without notable quality loss, see: 90s-era Simpsons episodes on FX), but obviously most digital elements were created to adhere to TVs BEFORE high definition picture was a thing, so unless they completely re-render and re-composite everything you’re always gonna have goofy-looking scenes where Sonic, lines mostly-crisp, is standing next to a PS2-model robot with aliased, pixelated outlines.</html>
