Basically our characters went to an undiscovered country, far far away from their own, and settled there. Basically it's a frontier settling next to old civilization ruins (2 days of travel away in a jungle). Basically dragons and dragonborns were the Goa'uld (Stargate) and enslaved other worlds to support their own. The ruins next to our settling were abandoned a long time after a bloody revolt of yet unknown history behind that. This is so far as I know it. Last session we learned that dragons were behind of this and all that stuff.
