My cousins haven't yet told my 90+ YO great aunt that her husband is gone. She, herself, is pretty far out of it, but... dang. On the other hand, Grandpa's other sister keeps learning about his death "for the first time," and all of her grandkids have stopped wanting to put her through the trauma so she's kind of just . . . y'know?
