I was really lucky mixing the base color to get the gray with the blue-ish tint I was aiming for. Because of the size I bought a cheap acrylic paint set and mixed white and black in a 1:1 ratio and then added about 1/3 of that amount with navy blue, and added a bunch of drops of silver metallic paint. Depending on the time of day it looks more blue or gray. On the other hand I had troubles getting rid of the layer lines using filler primer, sandpaper and files, especially the sides towards the center.</html>
