<html>The recent (non-canon) Simpsons two-parter “A Serious Flanders” was a lot of fun, but I feel like the first part gives itself away as non-canon too quickly by having Burns get shot (and killed, this time) during a shootout. The episode’s other deaths were Rich Texan, Disco Stu, and Fat Tony &amp;amp; his goons, and in an early version of the script, Agnes Skinner, all of whom i 100% believe they would kill off for shock value. But by having Mr. Burns be one of the ones to get bumped off the episode suddenly loses some of the drama.</html>
