<html>The first tomatoes are growing. Nothing more than a little sprout but it has survived the constant rain the last few weeks. Now I'm planning to build a raised bed for them. So far the &amp;quot;proper&amp;quot; raised beds are way too expensive. I could make the cheapest option, a dirt mound with a wooden barrier, but I want to move them eventually. Even used ones are hella expensive for what they are. Today I bought a big rectangular bucket for 6€ and will drill a few holes in the bottom. Similarly big planters cost at least 5 times more. Also the wooden box for the bucket will be built on the cheap without being an eye sore that many of those are. In the home improvement store I will buy the cheapest pine wood and paint it in order to cover up the less than ideal wood quality and make it somewhat weather-proof. If my calculations are right it will be in the ballpark of 20€-25€ per box.</html>
