 <html>So I've been thinking about the statement: &amp;quot;saying everyone is special is just another way of saying nobody is special&amp;quot; and for the longest time I used to believe that statement. then while watching some old clips of mister rogers, I realized the subtle difference: &amp;quot;nobody's special&amp;quot; just levels the playing field &amp;quot;everyone is special&amp;quot; emphasizes equality via mutual respect. the former is a sort of begrudging equality. the latter is equality because you recognize and respect the other person.</html>
