It's not poorly written, just a bit amateur. Which, sure, it's fanfic - it's pretty much by definition amateur writing. I know I'm not much (if any) better, but that's a large part of why I don't just throw my stuff out there to the 'tubes. Knowing how long &quot;Past Sins&quot; is, I just can't put that much work into it. Pleasure reading shouldn't be work, it should be fun. I see a degree of promise there, but it needs probably more polishing than would be worthwhile for this particular story. I wish the author the best as they continue to grow as a writer.
