I can only describe it as a sort of...absence. Like a black outline or a moving hole in the air. It had sketchy, undefined edges, almost like a line drawing or a tear. It had a roughly human shape, but the proportions were not correct. The arms were longer than they should be, and the head was oddly "tall" compared to that of a regular human. It was just standing there. Though it had no facial features, I felt as though it was looking at me. Looking "into" it, I felt an utter and profound terror. It felt like I was looking into a huge empty space. Like it was a hole I was going to fall into. Vertigo, almost. That was my first encounter with the being I refer to as "Him"
