A handful of writing faults, two notable slipups in pacing and at least one squick moment. Despite all that, it's a good story, and OK as a fanfic due to some theme/tone breakaway moments. 3 of 5 stars. Worth reading if the topic interests you, but it's no Sunny Skies, and never set out to be.
