It might have to do with a friend of mine who's absolutely crazy about her. She does have a nice color scheme, though, and her voice is really cute. And so is her personality. As for Pinkie Pie, I don't really have a problem with that, because she's funny and pretty much completely insane. For example, I love that map thing she did in the last episode.
