I was born in '82 and always wanted to watch MLP as a kid. It worried my mother so I didn't get to unfortunately, except for a couple episodes.. I did get to watch The Last Unicorn though. I loved that movie and eventually got my own copy as an adult (including the original story by Peter S. Beagle).
