"HIRD of Unix-replacing daemons," where HIRD stands for "HURD of interfaces representing depth." Which just brings us back to "HIRD of Unix-replacing daemons." And then to "HURD of interfaces representing depth." And the Users forbid you try to parse the two together into one phrase!
