@matrixjorel @jojoax indeed! As far as I know we're all that's active of the pony-folk in Utah on RDN, unlike the spoiled Ottawa and Vancouver bronies.. Still.. in the past month and 4 days the number of Utahns I know on RDN has multiplied by infinity!

@matrixjorel I guess you've probably already tried lots of things, but my preferred sleeping aids are melatonin, Calms Forte, and deep breathing relaxation exercises. I suppose when all else fails, ponies is good enough. :)

@matrixjorel For background ponies I base my favorite on design mostly. Dash was my first favorite pony as well. She's what drew me in to watch the show.

@matrixjorel I see! Rarity is awesome! I understand Big Mac is very popular in Japan. I like him too but he doesn't stand out much to me. I'm constantly flip flopping between Twilight and Fluttershy as favorite overall. I like Cheerilee most as a side character, Carrot Top most as a minor background pony, and Celestia over Luna. I guess Sweetie Belle is my favorite CMC. Choosing is always difficult.

@matrixjorel lol. Editing is only ever entertaining to me when it's good writing to begin with, and even then only sometimes. Have you put in your papers already? Also, I feel I need to ask you, do you have a favorite pony?

@matrixjorel It took me long enough. xP heh* By virtue of the fact that you got into BYU at all it seems you're pretty intelligent. I'm sure it will work out for you too, and hopefully more smoothly than it did for me

@matrixjorel yup! I hope so too. I mean the job market is bleh still.. but at least I have work right now and the career I'd like to work in has plenty of jobs available. I'd like to go to graduate school for Social Work

@matrixjorel nah. Most don't have the same issues I've had I think. It's not just the expectations, it's family and other things as well that have made it difficult. Overall I'm very happy now, even if I do feel like it's been an eternity at BYU.

@matrixjorel holy cow the semester is going by so fast! I love BYU but.. there are some drawbacks.. the expectations for student performance sometimes seem really high. I couldn't deal with it so I got an appointment with the psychiatrist at the SHC and got diagnosed for anxiety and depression which allows me to receive letters from the University Accessibility Center asking my professors to give leniency on assignment due dates and class absences. I came into BYU just fine.. but after 5 years I'm burnt out.

@matrixjorel You might have guessed I served in Italy. It actually helped me feel less self conscious about talking to people because I felt like it was OK to make mistakes, being foreign and all.. I'm generally pretty quiet irl.

@matrixjorel I had no idea what I wanted to do after I failed to get into the Animation major. I tried CS but it drove me crazy so I settled on Italian since I already have a gajillion credits

@matrixjorel haha! I just barely made it by in my math classes. I have a logic class left. The math isn't too hard, but the programming projects are beastly.

@matrixjorel I have terrible concentration at night. I should work on my paper, but I'm not sure I will. Napping is how I get by since I work nights.
