@metaltao Admittedly the world is Halo is fairly well built, especially if you read further into the series. That being said, being a massive sci-fi fan I'm well aware that the genre has a habit of letting characters, themes, and sometimes even central narratives all slip in favour of world-building pretensions and minor details. I'm not saying it's a bad thing, just that when examined holistically the story doesn't have an awful lot of meat to it, it's a just a decent sci-fi action story with a developed world.

@metaltao Yeah, I mean it's not like you really play Halo for the story all that much anyway but I still do expect some coherence from any game I play that has a story.

@metaltao By the way! Your last PM was pretty accurate. This girl I knew from a while back turned out liking me. We've been hanging out a lot and although we aren't dating (she's afraid of committing as her past boyfriends all treated her like cherry. Most ended up sleeping with her sister.. Which is rightly kiwied beyond belief. Anyways..) I really like her and without your help I might not have realized she even existed, as I still would have been clinging to "The Past". (That's how I refer to "her" now.)
