Basically, Equestria Girls goes on that age old saying "don't judge a book by it's cover". The movie might actually be pretty good, despite how it looks. I mean, look at where MLP has gone. I originally thought I was going to hate Friendship is Magic, because like a lot of people, I hated My Little Pony. I ended up liking it because for once, it didn't absolutely reek of female stereotypes.
