@awl Yeah. Their stuff is a bit more expensive than mass-produced models, but the availability of spare parts, customization, and having repairs done by the guys who designed and built the stuff makes up for it. The guy also explained the reason my dad and I were seeing so many people with cheap scooters/low cc bikes without lights: there seems to be a trend for crappily done electrical installations on the cheap bikes. Which made me consider setting up a small workshop at home fixing said electrical stuff, which requires knowledge I already have and a minimal investment to start.
