Maybe a good way to get back into the mindset is to live like a Maycan would, at least to a point, such as ritualism, celebrating of holidays I make up, et cetera. On sort of the same tangent I learned a few things about the larch tree which I thought would make well for a sort of sacred symbol to Maycans, one of the things I learned is a larch is typically depicted in Turkic religions as a tree of life and good blessing, a neat coincidence.
