@cajunbrony23 If you don't mind me half-watching while also doing other stuff? :P
-
@cajunbrony23 Sorry, don't have L4D2. Besides that, I'm on Linux, so L4D2 isn't available for my platform yet (though it will most likely be this year).
-
@cajunbrony23 Depends, what's it about and what's going to happen if I will be? :x
-
@hakupony The "insane" pony from the hospital. I wonder through what hell she went and would like to just hug her.
-
IRC channel: check, Buildbot running builds whenever I update my code to see if it still works: check, CIA bot which reports any updates I make: check, Programming inspiration: not check. I think I ran into a programmer's block.

@scribble I like roughly half of their stuff, but they're not bad in general.
-
@crusader8 I... don't know.
-
@scribble Buck yeah you know them :3
-
I wonder if anyone can guess correctly which genre of music this band makes: http://www.mp3boo.com/cover-album/horse-the-band.jpg
-
Dear GIMP: Albeit I appreciate your effort to help me, you are not a PDF reader. I know you can import PDFs as images and let me edit them, but I want to READ my math answers, not turn them into a beautiful work of art.
-
@crusader8 Neither * nor - have any grammar regulations, and *I* is not a word (and looks just as much like a smiley (whatever smiley that would be) as it looks like the letter I being accentuated).
-
@crusader8 Sorry, I can't help that that solution feels imperfect and I'd rather have a perfect solution :x
-
@crusader8 Hmmm, I guess that somewhat works. Guess, for lack of better options, either *I* or - I - will have to do, though they both are... not perfect. Still, thanks!
-
I wish there was a way to accentuate the word "I" when not having additional markup possibilities like bold letters. Writing I capitalized to make it sound like you're saying it more loudly simply does not work, because it is already a capital... Damn you, English language.

@abigpony Even though I'm wondering why Linux isn't a "normal OS" (it supports all software you would normally expect an Operating System to support, the only thing a-typical seems to be the relatively insane modularity of the system, being able to choose every part for yourself (Desktop Environment/Window Manager/Sound system/etc/etc). Then again, I guess any discussion regarding such a system would not go well due to the bias on at very least my side, and possibly your lack of Linux knowledge (not saying you know nothing about it, but your statement seems to imply that you, at very least, don't use it often).
-
@abigpony What is wrong with Linux that it cannot be considered a normal OS? o,o
-
@abigpony If you have a problem with that, why don't you recommend me another game I can play on my Linux? :P
-
@mrconventrix psh. Communism, fascism, dictatorship, democracy. It's all the same

I wonder how VALVe is going to select Linux beta testers. Guess they'll either go through Linux groups, put something on their forum or randomly invite people who have ran the Steam client in WINE before (as the Steam client detects WINE).

@toksyuryel Well, VALVe isn't the most evil company, so I don't really expect it to be much of an issue with them o,o
-
@toksyuryel #hugs (I wish they would tell me it's done already, though, taking forever...)
-
@hakupony I think he's a pretty cool guy, I like him :P
-
@broniebrown Thanks for the tip, but that doesn't do the one thing I love most about it: http://youtu.be/lepXx1kDelo (0:25+)

Well installing KDE didn't take long.

@broniebrown I will agree with you there, even though I'm using GNOME3 now. I'm only using it because I love love love their notification system and I think it looks beautiful, but except from the notification system GNOME3 is really, really hard to use efficiently. I used to use KDE a lot, but I've been having terrible issues with it since last year (taskbar icons randomly flashing for attention, even if the program itself doesn't require any attention). I used to use awesome a lot, but I personally have a feeling I should give KDE a try again, I'm getting kinda sick of GNOME3 right now.
-
@broniebrown Oh, you're a KDE user?
-
@broniebrown Fair enough, guess it makes sense in a way. Also, Choqok, nice client choice.
-
@broniebrown I can't get used to either of those. If I move my mouse up, I want to go up, not nose-dive into the sea.
-
@omni And nobody understands my techno-babble, of course. Not the average user, nor the people who actually know what they're talking about because I'm probably just doing extremely stupid stuff wrong.
