  1. Can someone recommend me a good cross-platform compatible (online) multi-player game I can play with my owner? And with cross-platform I mean at least Windows and Linux.

  4. @leonkfox Have you considered using a "Swype-style" keyboard? With the T9 in it and all, it drastically decreased the amount of typos I make. (I personally use TouchPal Keyboard, free in the Android Market).

  5. I guess I'll hack Hotot until it's Rainbow Dash-styled and working as I think is best and then see if I can get one of the admins to accept this client as "official". I really need to see if I can get the public timeline back first, though, that's important…

  6. Testing with a post over 140 characters to see if it dares to shorten this time. I should've edited the code succesfully, but we will see……

  10. @omni Scratch that, it only displayed 1000 as limit. Seems it has 2 variables for there. Time to find out what's causing it to still shorten it.

  11. Well, that was easy. I hacked the Hotot source code succesfully and edited the character limit to 1000. Now the (...) http://hotot.in/559615

  12. So, I've edited the variables I need in the Hotok source code, I've compiled it (first cmake . and then make), but now I need to figure out what the next step is to actually install my version under Arch Linux…

  13. @scribble Can understand that, but glad you two are doing fine.

  15. @toksyuryel Looks like it, how disappointing. Perhaps I should hack into the code and up the character limit, seeing how it's open-source and I only use it for RDN anyway.

  26. @cajunbrony23 Well, I wrote a feature which gives me a list of important variables so I can check if everything is behaving as it should, but when trying to improve it I managed to break it and now it outputs my entire source code. Which looks cool, I guess, but doesn't really help me in debugging...

  27. @derpyshy I need a few more fixes anyway :P

  28. I broke my debug feature, now I'll have to debug it. Oh, the irony...

Thursday, 19-Jul-12 15:15:34 UTC from web in context
  29. @derpyshy Stuff is going fine, I cleaned up a lot of my code, made it more responsive and adaptable in general and it should now be possible to start a new game WITHOUT refreshing the page.
