@rarity Kanye's kind of a peculiar case for me in that me listening to his music is less of a case of defending him and more of me engaging with his work as a larger cultural figure. "Kanye: The Person" and "Kanye: The Artist" both play off each other and sit in distinctly established camps, so engaging with and potentially enjoying his work isn't necessarily me defending him. I think me listening to the album is me partaking in the conversation surrounding him. Not to mention there are also just lots of people outside of Kanye involved in the album's production that warrant my interest in it.

@rarity I felt the same way but I feel like as long as his music holds up, however insane he gets in the real world doesn't matter as much.

@rarity I'll probably get around to it at some point, though as far as albums go my current priority is The Life of Pablo which I have but haven't been able to sit down and listen to in its entirety because of how busy I've been lately.

@rarity I don't think I've even heard their new album. The last one I heard by them was their self titled which was really flashy but didn't really grab me in any other way.

@rarity Assuming you're not joking, even if I left right after my last class that day the commute to Michigan would be pretty strenuous and time consuming. Also, I've already seen Dream Theater and don't really have much of an inclination to go see them again (especially not if it involves me really going out of my way). That being said, the actual prospect of going to a concert with you sounds like lots of fun!

@firestormdangerdash @redenchilada and the departed @widget did all the things Minti suggested and then some. @rarity did actually fund advertising on Derpibooru for a while, which actually did seem to have some effect. However, I can't afford to run the site and pay for advertising on my own, so when @rarity ran out of spare money for ads, the ads stopped.
