  1. @rarity If only the bus ran late enough to get back home.

  2. @rarity Not sure I would call it negative attention, namely because it isn't serious. As in, one would grin as they're saying it.

  3. @rarity Yeah but driving to the GM's house is another story.

  5. @rarity If somebody wanted to have sex with me wearing an Oculus Rift I'd be super duper insulted. :(

  6. @rarity I'm OK with that to a point. I'd like to read through the series again first for a refresher but would rather not wait too long afterward.

  7. @rarity I was really drawn in first time round, it felt like less than a week with every book excepting A Dance of Dragons.

  10. @rarity I think the core gameplay mechanics in Link's Awakening were far from the most intuitive the series has seen, but I love a lot of its designs and the sense of place it established throughout various points on the island

  11. @rarity I remember being really really fond of Link's Awakening although started with OoT. Wish I remembered exactly why.

  12. @rarity Zelda 2 isn't as bad as fans make it out to be, in my opinion. It's just very different from the rest of the series and hasn't aged as gracefully as other games from the era, so you have to adjust to its gameplay and design choices.

  13. @rarity Which is totally fine! They're both just storytelling vehicles, so it's not like there's any sort of inherent hierarchy between them. My bias certainly leans in the direction of superheroes, though there are still lots of superhero stories I don't really enjoy and a decent share of mecha stories I've found compelling.

  14. @rarity to be fair I've only seen him in HoC (as far as I'm aware) but it's done very well

  16. @rarity Oh I thought you meant exercise. As in exercise for that purpose.

  18. @rarity It's hard to say, to be honest. Hellboy 2 was my favourite superhero film for a while though, and I tend to be more of a superhero fan than a mecha fan (even though I've generally felt quite lukewarm about the Marvel superhero films).

  19. @rarity I was actually thinking of going to see Brand New this summer as well, so there's that

  21. @rarity My mom recently got a pretty sweet deal on a rowing machine, actually. I should be on the lookout for more gear, but I've also been checking out lots of nerd stuff I don't need but really want.

  22. @rarity That'd be really lucky if you managed to get that. I am in no position to afford a gym membership right now, so I'd just be working out at home. I miss my high school's weight room.

  23. @rarity It is, I used to work out lots in my senior year, but haven't had as much time to do so these days. I don't have a gym membership, but I do still have some weights at home, so I'd be able to continue working out various muscle groups.

  24. @rarity It's usually okay to deviate a bit if it suits you better, though if you were to you'd have to do so at your own discretion.

  25. @rarity You could possibly lower the dumbbell weight and do more reps, unless you're specifically looking to bulk

  26. @rarity Your top priority in that case should always be keeping your back straight, but it's unfortunate you have to work with what you've got in that case.

  27. @rarity You learn from your mistakes so I'm sure you'll get better. It's good that you're being diligent with your squats though, those are super important.

  28. @rarity Ohh, that's a good way to throw out your neck. I hope you're okay, knowing how much you're able to lift is important. I knew a guy who totally threw out his back doing curls cause his weight was too high.
