@thelastgherkin I wish I were like that. XD It'd probably be more fun. I don't think it would be impossible for me to draw for myself, but I'd need to develop a different skillset and look than what I have now. I'm just not sure how to get there. XD

@thelastgherkin I actually just went over this topic a few days ago when another trusted acquaintance of mine asked me the same thing. http://travisuped.livejournal.com/146865.html One reason that I left out in the post though was that of filling niches that I want to see filled that other people seem to ignore or not realize are there. And by drawing attention to it, I can usually motivate people to contribute to it.

@carcinopony Depends on the brand, but Pioneer Balloon Company who makes BSA and Tuftex balloons have pretty well thought out websites for their products, and have distributor sections for people ordering in mass or ordering to sell. And with sites set up for doing printed runs, they want the minimum amount met to save them the cost of getting the printing process set up. Specialty stores usually make them a lot more accessible to the average consumer, though. I mean, the average person isn't going to use up a 72 bag of balloons within a year, right? Unless they're hosting games or special events.

@carcinopony For fun, I'd just order in bulk from a manufacturer. They tend to take minimum orders of 100-300 for smaller balloons or printed runs.

@theawesomepony Maaaaaaaath~ I like math classes, but they do get pretty friggin' tough if you're not careful. And for the most part, it's going to be exponentially harder if you ignore the homework, as a lot of it tends to build up on each other, and if you're not confident with the previous topics, the newer ones just crumble down.

@carcinopony I probably would if I had the funds to do such a thing.But I kinda don't want to make that my livelyhood, either, so I'd have a hard time justifying a purchase like that.

@thelastgherkin I hear that fairly often, but I've yet to really find anything I really do for myself, yet. Closest I've come to really finding something that I smiled at the result because OMG MINE was when I took some time to figure out sewing and made a stuffed plushie. I've never tried another since then since it's very time consuming, and I have no idea how to break the progress into pieces. ... I really do think if anything about me is going to go places just for me, it will be the toy making thing.
