Foul and evil creatures from a mysterious land of pony came claiming they were brought here by humans who wish to pay them tribute. We took their kind and made them our slaves. Mankind ill needs a savior such as Nightmare Moon. Then the pickle landed and the night lasted forever. The ladn of world was never the same again. Over time, mankiind mvbuttated and became split become Discord, Eris, and Aneries. The tabletop roleplay Discordia was lost to time and became lost to time when they came. And then. It was over. The world was no longer the world become Equestria. It was Equestria.

@quetzalcoatl When I signed up for this site, I expected the website to run out of funding and interest and disappear within two months. This has not been the case, and I was pleasantly surprised.

@ceruleanspark Re: Rule V "that's role play" -> "that's considered role play". A little knit-picky, but I'm pretty sure this rule wouldn't show up in a denotative definitions of the term in any dictionary. Using considered makes it slightly more clear that if it isn't the case elsewhere, it is the case in the present context that this will be treated in this manner. || Re: Rule III) More knit-picking, but unlike the other rule, I have no hard suggestion for this one. "Occasional slips". Occasional is a loose term, and someone could say "Oh, I don't do it that often." to get by with what might be excessive to someone else. Now sometimes, communities can self balance this, which is why I say take this particular knitpick with a grain of salt, but I prefer to see statements like this quantified. Either defined with "less than x(slips)/n(posts/days)" or "X strikes" or "only if someone complains" so that cases of people saying "Oh! I didn't know!" doesn't serve as easy weasel room.

@ceruleanspark For VI, it may make more sense to either drop the Use Common Sense, make it its own rule, or move it to the end of the text for the rule. It seems to give the impression that the body will be about how to use common sense, but the body of it is more about not taking minor rule breaking to an extreme. It also doesn't explain *why* one shouldn't bother mods for every little thing, even if that might seem common sense to you and me. Generally, "common sense" comes off as a terrible line to see in any rule that isn't invoking questions of sanity and the state of a human being's mind. These rules aren't built for that kind of matter. Explaining said "common sense" or obvious observation in simple words makes it harder to circumvent. -- RE: "VI) Use common sense. Don't pester the mods over every little thing. If someone doesn't want to be your friend, or the "f-word" got used once, or an #NSFW tag was forgotten and the link wasn't that bad, don't be a tattle-tale."

Read the rules. Some of that feels just has hoof-wave-y as the ToS always has, but I guess if the site's been around this long and hasn't crashed and burned like I thought on day 2? It's probably not about to crash and burn any time soon.

I logged into EquestrianDawn, and the MUSH was pretty much empty except for a Guestpony. That. Honestly kinda worried me for a moment. :B But it seems like I just happened to just-miss somepony else who already talked to them, so I guess it's OK.

The problem with having Party Pony Papa and Party Pony Mama have a foal who is too young to talk is that now by necessity, they can not be eternally-hyper. One or the other has to take time from partying with every pony ever to take care of the child, and if they do both decide to party, they child has to be at the party. Fortunately, quiet children don't spoil parties easily? But it still necessitates a shift of focus, and with that, some shift of character. It's uh. An experience.

@leonkfox Maturity is the least of it's problems. For what's almost a niche genre these days, and a revival of a character who hasn't done a great deal in their native genre since Rabbids showed up, releasing it around the same time as CoD and Skyrim was. Horrible, HORRIBLE timing decision. Would have been better to hold it to at least January.
