The Arch at the End of the Earth
The Arch, the emblem of Los Cabos, is located in the south of Cabo San Lucas, right at the point where the Pacific Ocean and the Sea of Cortez meet. This rock formation, a result of erosion over thousands of years, is accessible only by water, which is why a number of tour operators with boats offer their services.
Whale Watching
During several months of the year, whale watching expeditions are allowed close to the coast. It is almost like a magical ritual and a wonderful experience.
Cabo Pulmo Marine Park
A real attraction is the Cabo Pulmo Marine Park, which is a protected natural area. The only living coral reef in the Pacific in North America is located in the park which is a paradise for snorkelers and divers for its great variety of multicolored fish, dolphins, humpback whales, manta rays, whale and hammerhead sharks, turtles and much more.
The Estuary
The Estuary, located in San Jose del Cabo, is a natural park, formed around a fresh water source. The vegetation is very typical if not unique in Baja California and around 300 species of birds and many other animals allow the visitor an exceptional adventure to this natural ecosystem.
