@vcgriffin Hmm, probably, my plans for this Sunday include waking up, watching the daily show while using my trainer bike to do a few KM, take a shower, and play Wildstar untill my leggs fall asleep... did I ever mention that there is absolutely no store or club open in this town on a sunday ?

@vcgriffin Also let's be honest. Manchester was a mistake. There are plenty of smaller towns with adequate transport, convention centers and hotel capacity that would have cost far less.

@vcgriffin I am not surprised honestly. Running a convention is hard, and this is pretty much the standard pattern for "new" cons. Start, do one, do well, expand, overreach, collapse. Every 4 or so years, Northampton gets a new Anime con that follows literally this cycle.

@vcgriffin I think that's probably a cultural thing. Despite sex education at puberty, I was part of a class who had never heard the word "heterosexual" until age 15/16. It's like, hetero and cis are the 'defaults', so they don't get their terms mentioned all the time.

@vcgriffin "Cis" is a prefix meaning "on this side of", just as "trans" is a prefix meaning "on the far side of". If the latter can be used alone, I see no reason why the former can't.

@vcgriffin well, that's the way I meant it. And I know it is cumbersome, but IDK a better way to say it. You can't say "normal" because that's kind of offensive so a short word is probably the best way to do it honestly
