@hannes2peer would you be open to pull requests for some mechanism for javascript hooks in Qvitter so that it's easier to integrate plugins for frontend stuff?

... Instead of random exceptions, they should just upgrade post size to something more reasonable. 280-300 was a good size. I don't think I've had a reason to fill up 1,000+ ever.

@hannes2peer I was wondering, how hard would it be to add an event at the end of the qvitter sidebar being made, so that I could add additional boxes by hooking onto that, rather than rewriting the /actions/qvitter.php file, to add my instance's donation bit?

@gargron @mmn Qvitter specific stuff would be @hannes2peer. I believe Classic does this, though I may be wrong, as I'm recalling offhand.

@blp Ohh, that's not only possible, it seems probable; @hannes2peer had to patch Qvitter recently to fix Chrome compatibility issues with uploading Attachments via Qvitter, so it's quite possible that this introduced problems elsewhere.
