@gargron this is what quitter.se received: https://quitter.se/attachment/1546250
no permalink that i can see?-
@hannes2peer@quitter.se Added alternate links to all entries! Wow, would it not be amazing if suddenly reblogs started working...
-
@gargron i could both fav and repeat this notice now :)
-
-
@maiyannah you can add it with javascript using the "qvitterAfterLanguageIsSet" event. see e.g. http://qttr.at/18p4
-
@dolus @alexivanov tell me if you find a way to reproduce it
-
@alexivanov no, not anything i know of. is it under any special circumstance?
-
@gargron just noticed I can fav your post multiple times with the counter counting up :-) .The favs disappear in detail view qttr.at/18oo
-
@hannes2peer maybe a small issue in @gargron's #new awesome !ostatus instance software that he is writing from #scratch
-
@mcscx i think it will be solved if @gargron sends a permalink to the notices in the entry in the pushed feeds, like this: qttr.at/18op
-
@arashm because i don't care about such things :)
-
-
@maiyannah @hannes2peer Huh, maybe the 'logdebug' setting has stopped having effect.
-
-
is no other admin getting "ignoring PuSH with bad SHA-1 HMAC" in their logs?
-
Decided to go with PD-M8020 for my Polyvalent. http://qttr.at/18m4 http://flic.kr/p/FvBcyN !cycling
-
@takeFrankerZakenji As someone who just uses bikes found !dumpsterdiving - I don't really think about the pedals that much. What difference do certain pedals make and what are you "looking for" in them when purchasing?
-
@mmn These are clueless pedals, so they aren't really comparable to 'normal' pedals that most bikes come with stock.
Sometimes higher-end pedals have better seals and bearings, so they won't need to be rebuilt as often. The XT level of clipless pedals has served me well for tens of thousands of miles, so their durability meets my needs. Anything more expensive would focus on weight reduction via fancy materials, which would reduce durability, which is why I don't go any higher than this. -
@mmn *clipless pedals.

-
@berry it's something i intend to fix https://git.gnu.io/h2p/Qvitter/issues/42
-

some .is users stopped showing up on .se after i resubbed all feeds on .se yesterday. i think because .is was down when i did it. fixed now
-
@maiyannah i couldn't figure out why the subscriptions had been corrupted, but plugins/OStatus/scripts/resub-feed.php fixed it @mcscx
-
@maiyannah good news: your posts arrive in my timeline just fine, thx @hannes2peer. But: this time I'm missing @mmn's reply in this thread
-
@mcscx i can see @mmn's reply now. social.umeahackerspace.se can be really slow, i don't think it is running queuedaemon
-
@hannes2peer @mcscx We run queue daemons, but very few threads and I for one have 400 something subscribers. Most of them are people who installed an instance or two, followed me because I'm a developer and then most have stopped working for one reason or another.
So with a bunch of dead feeds that all attempt to be pushed will on average probably take more than 1 second each, with timeouts etc... So if I start ranting it will cause our instance to fall behind in distribution ;)
I keep this slow intentionally so I some day will get motivated enough to disable remote callbacks that have been "too dead" ;) -
@mmn @hannes2peer :-) I already noticed that new posts take a couple of minutes to distribute to all the subscriber instances but I didn't expect it could take >30 minutes :-)) But that's perfectly fine – on #Fidonet everything took 1 day and it was amazing nonetheless :-)
-
-
running a script that will renew all remote subscriptions on .se, which will hopefully solve some federation issues.
cc @mcscx @maiyannah -
-
-
@hannes2peer you're right, it was addressed to \@koz.
-
@hannes2peer it seems possible that quitter.se-subscriptions no longer work _on @maiyannah's instance_, i.e.: they're no longer sent to q.se
-
New !gnusocial stickers arrived: shape cutted, water and outdoor resistant. https://gnusocial.de/attachment/2769531
- 2blickwinkel, mmn, hannes2peer and mcscx repeated this.
-
!dumpsterdiving en gnagare har hittats i fazer's kakao: ut och dumpstra! http://qttr.at/18db
-
Synd på det där med nada på !dumpsterdiving - men i övrigt verkade det nice!
-
@hannes2peer I implemented that feature I was pestering you about earlier. https://gs.kawa-kun.com/attachment/2240 /cc @maiyannah
-
@hannes2peer It's currently in a branch based off of 1.2.x. Should I request it to be merged into master alone, 1.2.x alone, or both?
-
@hannes2peer It rebased cleanly against master, so now I have two branches: twitter-repeat-config and twitter-repeat-config-1.2.x.
-
@takebatcaveakenji I want merge requests to go to nightly.
-
-
- mcscx repeated this.
-
@nicolasmaia there's been some issues with .no->.se fedaration. i'll look through logs tomorrow.
cc @knuthollund -
@maiyannah i don't think those errors are from the api requests (done by qvitter when viewing timelines), look for something like GET api/*
-
@maiyannah i don't really remember, has this something to do with quitter.se? anyway i don't know how salmon works, @mmn is good at that
-
@echosa you can add feature requests and bug reports here: https://git.gnu.io/h2p/Qvitter (first point is intended, the rests are bugs)
-
@liberadalinux have you checked the javascript console, the gnu social log and the php log for errors?
-
@jordila i don't like flattr for two reason. first, it represent "solutionism" for me. supporting it feels like supporting "new business >
-
@jordila > models", which we don't. second, flattrs are too small. it doesn't add up to anything. people donate 1 cent instead of 10 dollars
-
-
@maiyannah yes i think it is like that, but we probably want a feature that deletes remote profiles when you delete your account
