I told everyone that Mastodon was just using this as a stepping stone and no one listens, and now there's all the talk of dropping ostatus. Vindication is bittersweet.

@internetturtle Mikael has a day job that's been consuming his time, last I heard. There haven't been many commits. Actually ironically since pumpio picked up a fairly active dev its been the one moving forward lately.

I wish there were a platform simpler than the JVM but that multiple languages could target for multiple platforms.
