  2. @purplephish20 I got halfway through a search for a reaction image of "someone being shot in the face" before I realised that may not be work appropriate.

  11. @purplephish20 I can say those words but because of this organisations structure I can't make him actually listen to them.

  15. @purplephish20 @pony he reiterated it back in march of last year at a convention too. I do actually have links to hand for this one: http://bronyshow.com/?p=804 https://twitter.com/johndelancie/status/184176729840033792

  16. @purplephish20 I'd like to point out NOW before we get drowned out by exactly those people, that waaaay back at the start of Season 2, before it was known whether or not Discord would be a popular character, De Lancie posted on twitter that he'd actually been hired to do 3 episodes.

  17. @ceruleanspark @purplephish20 didn't Marge tutor Homer in French or something? Oh! also, there's Homer's Crayola Oblangata condition wherein the crayon that lodged in his brain as a child made him extremely stupid and when it was removed temporarily he became a genius.

  18. @purplephish20 Oh yeah. The Trixie episode ain't got nothing on this.

  20. @purplephish20 I think it turned out (in a surprisingly dark moment for the show) that prior to being beaten down by her idiot husband and children, Marge was actually highly intelligent and had a lot of life goals.

  21. @purplephish20 A MORE APT ONE TO START ON WOULD BE HARRY POTTER.

  22. @purplephish20 It's kind of the key point of rugrats though. Same with how the Simpsons kids are much more capable and intelligent than their parents.

  23. @purplephish20 Anime characters are particularly weird. All the Madoka girls are in their early teens, but, (aside from when the plot requires it) have the emotional capacity and decision making ability beyond that of most adults.

  24. @purplephish20 The only major adaptation I'd make is that it's a computer game and that canonically none of the characters genitals have been exposed (because for 90% of the story they are 13 years old)

  26. @purplephish20 It's like, you think you've reached the pinnacle of idiocy and then reddit gets involved with all the subtlety of a train hitting a petrol station.

  27. @purplephish20 Yes. It's like that episode of Futurama where the brains made everyone stupid.

  28. @purplephish20 I think...and I do not say this lightly. That the homestuck thing might actually be more stupid.
