I play guitar, mostly metal, sometimes classical or jazz.
My favorite bands are Death, Morbid Angel, Exmortus, Vektor, Kamelot, S.S.H., Blindead, Arsis, Sodom, Destruction, Kreator, Megadeth, and (secretly) Regina Spektor.
My favorite shows are Friendship is Magic, Detroit Metal City, Naoki Urasawa's Monster, and Spice and Wolf. I don't watch much TV though. The only show I watch regularly is MLP:FiM.
I also like parkour and I like to run. So I'm a lot like Rainbow Dash I guess. Actually my personality is more like Rainbow Dash, Fluttershy, and Pinkie Pie mixed together to make some abstract pony gorror fanfic...

@zarkanorf I've found that the energy you tell people with is directly proportional to the amount of respect or crap you get in return. If you mutter under your breath "I like this show called My Little Pony," you're gonna get made fun of, but if you're like me and just RIP YOUR FREAKING RAINBOW DASH OUT OF YOUR POCKET, SLAM IT DOWN ON YOUR DESK, AND SCREAM "HEY EVERYPONY, GUESS WHAT I BOUGHT OVER THE WEEKEND!" then everypony is going to love you for it.

@abigpony If anything, I've gained respect from all of this. I did a presentation on bronies for a research paper for English class. Unfortunately I'm only in high school so I couldn't record it. :/ I've shown people that I live my own life, and not what they want me to be, so disrespecting me is a waste of energy. More people talk to me, if anything to ask me why my Facebook is all decked out with ponies. :> People have PM'd me telling me that I made them realize that it doesn't matter what others think of you, and that I made their life better just by being me. #feelsgoodman

@abigpony I've converted about thirty people to bronydom. Some of them were NEIIGGHHSayers at first, but I annoyed them into watching it and they loved it, go figure. Everyone else doesn't really care. My sister thinks it's funny. My parents don't like it, but I don't care what they think. :>

@delc17 This post may be offensive to some people. Just a heads up. When I was in pre-school I went to Catholic school. I also happened to like the Satanic death metal that my neighbor showed me. Don't get me wrong, I didn't even know what Satanism or Satan was at that time in my life, but the principle and guidance counselors eventually found out that I liked this kind of music. They called me down to the office constantly trying to tell me that it was a sin to listen to this "bad music" and that I would go to Hell if I didn't stop listening to it. (What a wonderful thing to say to a kindergartner!) I said something close to (I planned it out on my way down) "You know what? I don't care if it's wrong. I just like it because it's music. And if this is what Hell is, then that's where I want to go." I got kicked out of school for that and had to go to public school where I met people who also liked metal and I felt normal. This is probably why I don't care if people know I like ponies.

@madflavors Maybe your parents themselves will realize that there is nothing wrong with liking a good show and being friends with great people. Parents can be really dumb, because they just want what's best for you, but sometimes they confuse what's best for you with social normality. They'll loosen up if you just talk to them about it.

@celestiaforequestria Not in this particular situation, but I feel your pain. I've worked on writing songs for hours on end, and have the MIDI sheet music saved on my computer, then all of the sudden the file gets corrupt. D: It's the worst feeling. Although I hope you can get your camera repaired at least at a decent price. D:
