Back when I actually did web Javascript I did use Prototype. I just don't like the "we're not telling you what's going on write this"

@psquid My only worry about Prototype is that it has one hell of a long release cycle and I'm not sure any development is taking place

@mvdan Yes, it's more the principle of a tutorial being 'Javascript' but always being +JQuery which bothers me. I think I'll use it..

@mvdan If I were a professional? Professionally written Javascript is generally the worst, because the people who write it don't know it.

This is why you use packer. (Or not. I used to use yaourt, but I haven’t recently, so I probably can’t help.)

The problem with tutorials for web Javascript is they're all like 'hey man do all your work with jquery' and I'm like 'Nope.'

The only problem with it is that the back comes off a bit easy but that's due to a year and a half of me messing with it
