@andranator2 I'm medically too crazy for any sort of military service under UK requirements, so I'd have to front the cost of lessons myself, and they ain't cheap. (On my salary, anyway. In a few years when I'm earning more, it's more of a possibility)

@andranator2 I can have my vison corrected if I really want, but I can't actually afford pilot training at the moment anyway, so I figure it can wait until I'm older.

@andranator2 I'm totally unable to fly a jet because my vision is too poor. Might be able to fly a light aircraft or an autogryo though. ( I really want an autogyro.)

@pinhooves @andranator2 well that's true too, gotta feel comfortable if you want to hang out, but at the same time you shouldn't limit yourself to just one place. If you get a chance Pinhooves it would be cool if you could join us in other meet ups.
