@ceruleanspark they're not cheap anywhere but yeah if you want to fly don't every give up on it. Pilots (or pilots to be) like us live for the glorious feeling of flight. Always chase that high of flying. Good luck. Also it's almost 1am here so I'm going to go to bed now. My alarm goes at 6am then I have to go for my run. 5 miles every morning because I gotta keep in shape. Sometimes it really sucks though. lol anyway... Good Night

@ceruleanspark flying is something you can learn at any age really so it's just fine. I'm getting my licence through the air cadet program and if I get the scholarship slot I won't pay anything for my whole licence and training.

@ceruleanspark oh, I'm familar with canadian air regulations but not air regs in the uk so I don't know what the licencing requirements in the uk are for a private pilots licence

@ceruleanspark depends on how poor your vision is. Which country are you from?

@ceruleanspark they use digital ones for jets and such that have 1000+ button but if your fly a cessna with like 30 buttons you have to do a bit more work

@pinhooves come to the meetup on the 18 it's going to be a bunch of us but it is in my backyard (literally) there's going to be lots of people and it's close so if you get there and you're too uncomfortable you can just go home because you live so close.
