@echron1000 !bcbronies Sorry, it just seemed like you were saying how well your system was working to no one in particular. Point is, even if the Saturday ones are successful, even if it's for some reason the preferred day, many people can't attend, and there's no sense taking time off work for a small-scale casual meetup. Plan was always to have these weeklies but still have the occasional big meetups, and perhaps we should start planning the next longer-term large-scale meetup.

@echron1000 !vancouverbronies Yeah, no. I know many bronies who always have to work Saturdays (I'm one of them). From what I've seen, Friday and Saturday are the busiest days at pretty much any part-time jobs. Most bronies are students, and as such that's the only kind of job they can reasonably do. Not saying anything should necessarily change, since this works for many of you, I'm just saying I don't think it's wise to brag about how this works for people with tough schedules. I'd rather ask time off for a more major meetup. Speaking of which, are we planning anything? There'll surely be ones at any conventions coming up, but other than that? Something on a Sunday maybe? A month or two away?

@echron1000 !bcbronies I had every drink in the house in a tall-dole glass. And then finished my drink from earlier. And had tons of pizza. I think I mentioned it in passing the morning after, and I made sure to leave everything cleaner than it originally was after my guts were done exploding out my mouth.

@echron1000 No apology needed, I understand entirely, I tend to fly headfirst into things and be optimistic to a fault. I'm sure what you put together will come off much better. I'll be the first to admit that there are definitely people, not that I'm naming any names, in our group that I would not want speaking for me in any way, shape, or form. Make us sound awesome, you're one of the coolest in our group.

@echron1000 Not even my song; it's a verse in what's supposedly eventually going to be a larger collaboration, and it's a joke. Also, if they're looking for stuff to put us in a negative light, they'll find stuff way the hell easier than that. A major news outlet's not going to directly report on a XXX song about the ponies, there are censorship issues. As I said, I've never been contacted by anyone in the media in the first place, so the whole issue is moot. Worst-case scenario is that there's one more negative article added to the dozens that already exist, and when people bring it up with us we mention the hundred thousand dollars or so that bronies have raised for charities over the last year.

@echron1000 Believe me. If I've got any direct contact with any form of media, I'll choose all my phrasing and references carefully. I've heard no word back from anyone about anything though so at present I doubt anything will come of this.

@echron1000 Oh no, I can figure out quite easily which videos would pin me as some manner of insane freak. I also know this fandom inside and out better than most people likely due; my connections are quite vast, and I've nothing to hide.
