1. @ashij It is a tough issue, currently I'm trying to think of a resolution, but it is stressful. On one hand eliminating gender labels will obviously solve the issue but on the same side of the coin it will cause more confusion as there is a representation both physical and psychological division between the sexes. Then on the other hand you can just include the transsexual label but that would be seen as catering to that specific group and leaving the other groups such as homosexuals, bisexuals, etc. behind, and even if you did add those groups that would defeat the purpose of the open minded theme of the site if everyone is to have labels put on them. The only real thing I suggest to to choose your words more tactfully. Going through your current thread on the issue some of your posts are a tad bid aggressive.
We don't care how you personally handle it from this point on
could have probably been worded differently. If you need any help doing so, I'll be happy to oblige.

 3. @ashij Just made an account on your forum and been paying attention to this conversation here. I think the main issue here is the choice of words and the fickle concept of faith. The choice of words as odin has already explained needs to be more well chosen to prevent hurting those whom the specific issue addresses. As for the faith part, people understand that such issues are large and may have to be extended and/or taken to a later day to discuss, but will it actually happen? I've seen multiple forums say that are going to do this and later close from a couple of weeks to months time due to the userbase feeling neglected by the moderators for so long. If an issue such as this current one is to be delayed, then it should be done so with utmost care, not just placed in storage only to be forgotten until too late. The roleplay environment is an environment for open-minded individuals and such aspect of open mindedness needs to have stability in such an environment.

 5. @juneiperjazz No I'm not saying that, nor am I going to, just trying to explain the admin's decision in my own words. To put it simply, they do not want to RL stereotype stigmas in their forum, for it after all managed my a couple of people. Yes it is harsh (to a degree), but also understandable and again it doesn't outright ban the actual action of roleplaying said character, just the name.

 6. @juneiperjazz Which is what I said, at the same side you can roleplay a homosexual but the label homosexual is not allowed, or you can roleplay a straight person but the label straight is not allowed. It's not just an action taken against transexuals, from what I gathered it's to keep to PG 13 esque theme of the TV show inside the forum too.

 7. @juneiperjazz From what I gathered the admins just want to get rid of the stereotypes of labels all together from the forum, this includes religion, sexuality, and gender. The freedom to play a transexual character is still there just not explicity named on the character application, this goes too with homosexual, bisexual, religion, whatever.

 23. @ashij Indeed, I understand your actions and agree with it now. Unfortunately most of the people discussing this issue over here at RBDN are asleep atm, sorry 'bout that. But in other news, hope your community stays well and grows, more bronies are good but unified bronies are a godsend. BTW I might be joining in the near future after I sort out my school crap lol.

 24. @ashij Hey ashi, was just talkin' about you a minute ago, lol. Just to make things clear, I agree with you now that you made that post ty. The first post/thread concerning the issue imo didn't get the point straight across as half the post was well, not on the issue. Not to mention when it hit the issue it was very very vague and I was still left wondering how the hell such an issue can cause such strife. But anyways, thanks again for your clarification post.

 26. @administrator Alright that's better at it makes sense. I was confused on the other guy's post because half of it was relating to his RL and the main point was hidden amongst all the crud and when actually hit upon it was very very vague.

 27. @spike Yup, it's doozey on the mind isn't it? And if you want the episode "green isn't your color" it was the same VA worrying over promises that she already knows.
