  3. @flaxx It IS stupid, but suddenly the big game companies decided that they need to find ways to make money off used game sales. It makes marketing sense, but I really hate it..

  4. @flaxx I agree, most of the time. Especially in modern cases where a lot of game have those silly extortionate "If you bought this game used you need to pay $10 to play online" sort of things.

  5. @ickus It was only a matter of time before the sheer amount of potential Portal jokes invaded the frontpage

  6. @flaxx It should be pretty simple to buy a good-condition used copy online somewhere. Or if you have ridiculous amounts of money you could always try and find an unopened new copy. Personally, I find that used games aren't as bad as most people think

  7. @nutterguy That weather sounds almost as bipolar as it is around here. It literally switched from pouring down raining to bright sunny day twice in an hour on Friday.

  8. @flaxx Shadow of the Colossus and ICO are coming out in HD on the PS3 later this year. Should be pretty awesome

  10. @delc17 Those first four are definitely in my top 10 aswell! SotC.. What can I say about that game that doesn't not do it justice? It makes me sad that I didn't get to buy Ico before it went basically out of existence anywhere. At least the PS3 collection comes out later this year

  11. @flaxx Hah, it made me so obsessed with Greek mythology. I'd always pick Hades :D And then choose Hephaestus for the colossi.. The Myth units in that game were one of the many reasons it was so fun

  12. @ponybis I did! It was such an awesome game. The map editor was a lot more usable than most other RTS's of the time for some reason. It was one of the only ones where I actually made missions and maps instead of just ponying around.

  13. @flaxx AGE OF MYTHOLOGY. God, that game was the ultimate example of how good an RTS game can be. Just something about that game made it, like.. Perfect.

  14. @flaxx Red Alert was pretty awesome. Back in the day I played pretty much any RTS game I could get my hands on. Empire Earth, Warcraft 3, Red Alert, Age of Empires, Age of Empires II.. God, nostalgia explosion

  15. @flaxx To me, Rollercoaster Tycoon 2 will always be in my top 10. Sid Meier doesn't make games like he used to :(

  16. @flaxx Oh god, Rollercoaster Tycoon. So many, many hours of my life were spent making ridiculous park designs, and seeing how many people I could pack into one area. :D

  17. @flaxx Oh, sorry. I saw this big rainbow pony at the top and thought this was a G.I. Joe fansite :P
