  7. # At the end of the episode "The Ticket master", Twilight sends her tickets back to Princess Celestia instead of picking a friend for the gala. Have you been in a similar situation, torn between your friends and a huge opportunity?

  9. "A true, true friend helps a friend, indeed, to see light that shines in a true, true friend." At first this line felt sappy because of the vague word "light". However, "light" in this song refers to an implicit quality that audiences are meant to pick up on. By saying "light" instead of a more specific word, the show encourages us to fill the word with our own meaning or to infer its meaning from the actions of the characters on-screen.

  10. @meloetta "Hurtful" can include insulting someone or being brash. To limit the word to physical pain is a great injustice, IMO.

  20. @metaltao Spinoza's philosophy ( http://derpy.me/5q1bs ) and Taoism are great aids to reasoning about things, I think. Very applicable to AI, I think.

  22. @metaltao I did. I thought about the Tao ☯ last night and whether its teachings would be helpful in building a robot. Like, the robot would recognize opposites and respond to them somehow.
