@chaosmagic when link defeats ganon, zelda sends him back seven years to relive his childhood. this creates two different timelines. one where the adult zelda is, and the one where link is during his childhood. (Commonly known as the adult and child timelines, where the previous timeline we discussed was the hero is defeated) the wind wakers events follow the adult timeline, and majoras mask, twighlight princess and four swords follow the child timeline.

@chaosmagic link doesnt reproduce. whenever a great evil of huge proportions appears, the goddesses choose another hero. this hero is named link. the chosen hero. one link may have absolutely no blood relation to a past link, but they were still chosen by the goddesses.

@chaosmagic yes. the dark world is the sacred world, turned evil by ganon.

@chaosmagic in ocarina of time, an alternate reality occurs. (as if in a parralell world) and ganon kills link. this gains him all three pieces of the triforce. the seven sages, with all their remaining power make the ultimate sacrifice. they seal ganon away in the dark realm forever, along with hyrules precious triforce.

@chaosmagic Yep. skyward sword, minish cap, ocarina of time , (three way split between 1hero is defeated, 2adult, and 3child) 1 a link to the past, the oracle series, links awakening, a link between worlds, zelda one, and zelda two. 2 wind waker, phantom hourglass, and spirit tracks. 3majoras mask, twilight princess, four swords, four swords adventures. of course there was the creation of hyrule, the war5 between demise and the goddess hylia for the posession of the triforce, and all games to come. (in the future)

@chaosmagic shigeru miyamoto, who was zeldas creator, enjoyed the works of scott fitzergald, whos wifes name was Zelda. miyamoto took a liking to the name and named the game after her. the heros name was link because the original 1986 NES title was originally supposed to be a sci fi game, and the triforce pieces were computer chips. these chips allowed the hero to travel through time. the hero was the 'link' between timer periods. afterwards, the name 'legend of zelda' just stuck.

@chaosmagic the trailers say the game will come out "sometime in 2014". I would sure love to buy the collectors edition of them, but the chances of finding them here are as high as the chances to it in my intestines during a coloscopie, so i guess i will have to buy the regular version =/

@chaosmagic well, Senel (the silver haired guy) is a fist fighter, so ou might be used to that already. I dont remember the fighting style of the ninja, but i remember i didnt like much. The guy in orange is the elemental caster of the game. He is a caster that fights with a giant hammer.
