@chezefromamerica That's not what I wanted to say. If you tell your friends that you are a Brony,you do that for yourself and you don't need to do it if you don't feel the need to do it.

@chezefromamerica Well, you don't have to tell them. If there are situations where your heart aches to tell them, you can tell them. If there are no such situations, you can just live on without saing anything. It's not like you'd have to justify anything to us :-)

@chezefromamerica If he is a friend, he will accept you the way you are. In addition, you might ask yourself why people have prejudices. In German, the word for "prejudice" means something like "forgone judgment". It happens if people have an opinion but no idea what they are talking about. If they encounter someone whe is actually one of the group, they might change their opinion fast - or just think that you are an example because you are cool.

@chezefromamerica Oh my....... well you might not want to tell him right away but ease it in somewhere. He is your friend, and if he doesn't like you afterwards... Well that makes him a pretty bad friend then.

@chezefromamerica People sometimes get strange dreams and their judgement is sometimes clouded by prejudice. This is no reason to end a friendship and I'd really tell him that you do like MLP and would appreciate if he didn't kill you. A bit of sarcastical humour is always good to have.
