@nvrrmbr well he's my OC's pet, its sort of a tribute to the baby bats I took in a few years ago...they were very young and didn't survive more than a week but the specialist I talked to said it was a miracle they lasted past the first day...

@sugarhooves That's really interesting. Reminds me of the hatchling robins I adopted. They're actually living in a nest in the backyard now. Anyway, bats are awesome and you are awesome for trying to help them.

@nvrrmbr they really are facinating creatures, if I weren't planning on being a chef I'd professionally rehabilitate them, its probly for the best though I'd end up too emotionally attached to them.

@babadingldoo If you're like me, you usually forget about things like that with in the first months after release. I don't even remember the name of my cat that died a few weeks ago.

@nvrrmbr well it makes it very hard to release them into the wild, I wouldn't be able to take giving up my babies over and over again lol

@sugarhooves Now, the easiest way to release them is by using a third party. Someone who isn't emotionally attached to the creature. That's why vets put down pets instead of their owners.

@sugarhooves Shed a single tear, hand them to someone else, and move on. Distract yourself by doing something distracting, try not to let your mind wander. Stay focused. I've dome this countless times. For Guinea pigs, baby mice, turtles, baby rabbits, bird hatchlings. It's just repetition.

@nvrrmbr I get your point, I'm just a bleeding heart though, I've never been very good about just moving on when it comes to that sort of thing...when my ex dumped me I had to give up our guinea pigs since technically she owned them first and it about killed me, I still miss the little buggers...

@sugarhooves I'm somewhat a bleeding heart myself, but when I get too attached to something, I tend to block out emotions at all until I either lose emotional attachment or the attachment gets stronger.

@sugarhooves Im just putting this out there, but you need to be more precise when choosing a girlfriend. If she's someone who will make you feel guilty, then don't date her. I'm sure you're doing a perfectly fine job in picking them out, and this isn't really my area of expertise, but you need to find someone who won't insult you, won't make you feel guilty, and won't get too overly jealous. I know thats difficult, but look before you jump.

@nvrrmbr well she seemed normal until we moved in together, then she turned out to be apepapayas crazy lol. I've learned my lesson, I don't think I'll be jumping into anything for quite a while, honestly I should've known it was going to end badly when she laughed at me for loving ponies

@sugarhooves That's one of the requirements. Not laughing when bringing it up. Being a brony since G3 (that's before the word was commonly used), I've had to end many a relationship because of that.

@sugarhooves I'm a guy, so it's not so... "natural" for me to like MLP in the slightest. Yet I've accepted my fate to be a forever fan of it. I remember the Smooze movie. Wasn't my favorite.

@nvrrmbr as the little girl that hated Barbie with a firey passion I know how you feel lol, ponies are one of the few girly things I actually liked as a kid, I was the little girl that played in the mud with my Tonka dump truck XD

@sugarhooves I actually don't hate Barbie. Sure, it isn't great, but it isn't abysmal either. And by the way, tomboy girls are much better than really feminine girls.

@nvrrmbr I just never really liked her...too shallow and valley girl-ish, then again I loved Sailor Moon so Barbie never really had a chance lol, I didn't like the main character though. My favorites were always Mars, Uranus and Neptune, all far better role models for a young girl in my opinion

@nvrrmbr its really good if you watch the ORIGINAL version of it, not the bananasized cencored to the point of idiocy version they put out here in the states. *shudders* I intensely dislike the english dub of it

@nvrrmbr I've heard of Soul Eater but I've never seen it, I've watched quite a few animes, I'm actually in the Otaku club at my college. We're watching Ouran Highschool Host Club this term, its HILARIOUS :D

@sugarhooves I actually haven't seen the original Sailor Moon. Come to think of it...I never actually finished it. I know in the early going, DBZ did have some to be desired. But around the Frieza Saga, they began improving. I certainly enjoy it more than the Ocean Dub though.

@sugarhooves Soul Eater is surprisingly good, actually. It's funny too. I never really got into anime. I usually only read anime and that's if I'm lazy enough to walk the three miles up to the library.

@sonicdash agreed, and if you get the chance you should finish it, Serena is kinda annoying but the rest of the cast make up for it and then some, it gets really good :) I've been meaning to download it but I can't find a good torrent of it :/

@sugarhooves I know I'll have to watch it from the beginning again. I only remember bits and parts from the series. One moment they were learning the powers and the last thing I remember, Uranus and Neptune were joining the cast.
