Well, isn't this a treat? The router has been replaced and is in full working order ,but the bloody PC I switched to recently is buggered =/ It's not even neccesarily because it has Vista on it, the damn thing just doesn't go past the screen that says "Advent" (the company that manufactuered it) Looks like I'm gonna have to go back to that old Windows 7 machine. (The software is newer, the hardware however is another story) Setting it up will also be a cherries within the constraints of my room =/ !techponies

@leonkfox if you are going to worse hardware you should probably try to get a different os so the computer will run better since windows 7 requires more RAM

@thecupcakinator You would think that, but that PC (the older one 7 was put onto, it had XP on it originally) actually ran better once the OS was changed, even though 7 is (as you yourself said) more demanding.

@leonkfox I would be looking for computers people are throwing out to see if they work better, of course you might have to trade or something for them

@thecupcakinator Yeah, people usually won't give away something for nothing, even if they were just chucking it in the bin anyway =/

@leonkfox yeah it's kind of stupid but still cheaper than anything else, but I would ask friends or family not random strangers

@leonkfox darn. well I would love to give you a computer a friend gave me but I don't think it works so I wouldn't want to give you a broken computer
