    1. @rpb3000 I hear many say bad things about Vista. I don't understand, I love how Vista works.

      1. @pinhooves I skipped a generation... never really used Vista. Windows 7 seems pretty decent to me though.

        1. @pawnheart Vista feels like an updated XP. I liked using XP back then, but my old computer crashed, so I was forced to use Vista. Loving it still.

          1. @pinhooves Yeah, there's lots of nostalgia for XP, it seems! I know plenty of people who get on fine with Vista. I think some folk had problems with Office '07 though (or whichever the Vista-oriented one was), just got the new one, and they seem to have returned to a much older template. Maybe some folk just dislike change! ...btw, Its hard for me to type 'XP' without it turning into a laughing face with its tongue out.

            1. @pawnheart Yeah, I totally get where you're going with the smiley face. I guess XP is still good, although it wasn't exactly the best experience with an old computer.

      2. @pinhooves Vista's fine if you have a computer powerful enough to handle it. It's even harder to wrestle under control than 7 is tho; you can disable UAC in 7 with the click of a button, in Vista you can only sorta stop it from being annoying via the control panel... it takes much more voodoo to actually get rid of it. 7 is just like Vista, polished. But yeah, the default settings are all geared for first-time computer users.

        1. @rpb3000 In my experience, 7 > Vista in every regard, boot up time, overall performance, UI, task bar design etc. Then again XP > Vista as well.

          1. @leonkfox Pretty much. 7 actually accomplished everything Vista set out to accomplish and failed at.

            1. @rpb3000 Vista looked pretty, but it ran terribly, 7 looks pretty and it's actually a useable operating system.
