@ceruleanspark I really want to buy an original black label copy of the game and finish playing it. I originally had the game given to me by some old neighbors, but it had two disc twos and was missing disc four. I still have PS1 memory cards though.

@lilytheamazingfaintingpony It's explained very poorly in the game. The concept itself is actually pretty easy to grasp. You can attach magic to your stats to make them higher. That's basically it.

@ceruleanspark @lilytheamazingfaintingpony Basically, you can junction various forms of magic to each of your stats (not just atk and defense). Besides boosting a stat, some magic has a special affect with atk/defense. When it comes to junctioning magic to defense, you usually gain a bonus of being safeguarded to a certain extent from that magic/status; depending on how much of that magic you have stocked. Atk is the other way around, junctioning magic to atk can add elemental damage or a chance of a status affect being inflicted when you attack. For the affects of junctioning magic to atk/defense, this only applies to status/elemental magic such as Doom or Fira.

@rotation I'm not buying the green/greatest hits version cause I'm aware that the green label version usually has a problem where disc three cannot be read, even by a clean normal PS2.
