      @ladestitute You might be eligible for a free a power meter from your power company. Knowing how much power any given device uses is a pretty useful metric.

      @brooklyne I've already set myself into a habit of unplugging any unused lights and devices. All I have plugged into the power outlit are my computer's cables, including the speakers and monitors.

         @ladestitute I've also been bagging on my mom to unplug the stuff in her room if she's not using it. She always leaves her hairdriers/blowdriers plugged in and she's got a unhealthy habit of using multi-plug outlets for five plugs or so. She's got two of those.
