@redenchilada He did the first time this happened. When he wanted an easter logo. He appointed a handful of mods then if I recall. It's a stupid way, and half of those people left anyways. Making a graphic != quality human being (which is all you really need for a mod anyways)

@redenchilada Mhm, I submitted an entry for the sake of it - I disagreed with the method of 'mod-appointing' at the time as well, but being as the site was fresh it was slightly better as it showed an interest in the site (sort of). ~ All the same, it appears @cabal will do what @cabal will do.

... I'm utterly tempted now to enter one of these contests, try in earnest to win, and then if I get the moderator status NUKE EVERY DASH EVERY MUHAHAHAHAAAAAA seriously though, that's one of the reasons why this is a really bad idea.

@haganbmj Making a conversation with every post is silly. Occasionally it's nice to see someone shout BALOGNA! I LOST MY PANTS!!! and disrupt the timeline for a good minute or two.

@redenchilada It is not nice however to see random thoughts "Which seat should I take?" and questions of that nature. Rhetorical Questions given the information the users of this website have.
