@greydragon412 @MrDragon No and no. Honestly, one of the reasons I like Octavia is that she doesn't quite work in any kind of ship. LunaxOctavia makes sense a little, as does Raritavia and LyraxOctavia, but none of them really fit. I like shipping, and I'm a supporter of many ships, but I like that Octavia doesn't really work with any. If pressed though, I like Octavia and Blues (If anypony remembers him from way back when)

@seanthesheep I love Octavia. Just wanted to point that out, she is quite saucy whilst so clean in that term.

@seanthesheep hmm, sounds like when we meetup you and I will get on just swell. I have to maintain excellent willpower control NOT to turn this place in to a sex crazed palace with what I can type from what I have in my mind. But meh, all in a days work for me.

@mrdragon If you say so. Honestly, I'd do much better at writing a fic that makes Cupcakes look like a children's story, or something that would make you look at Bubbles and laugh by comparison. I prefer to just write stories though.

@greydragon412 That still doesn't quite work. They always end up the same way: with Octavia compromising herself and Vinyl staying the same unchecked madcap fun-loving lunatic. Mostly Octavia's prim and properness gets played for laughs and her shyness is played as social awkwardness. Jokes are usually at her expense rather than with her.

@greydragon412 Ugh, sadly yes. It was a nice concept, and they made it work as best they could, but the writing itself? Florid. More awash with superfluous verbiage than a congregation of thesaurus enthusiasts spouting their logorrhoeic boasts with unchecked frivolity.

@madflavors I would if I could ever sting together a coherent narrative at will. Sadly my writing is solely at the whim of my mind's "Ooh, this is a good idea! And you can do this! And this!" centres.

@seanthesheep That's what's stopped me from writing. All I ever think of are a few good, unrelated scenes and no real overarching plot.

@eaglehooves Aye. I can occasionally think up some really good scenes along one overarching thing, but I have no idea how they lead to one-another. There's a connection between them, but I don't know how.

@seanthesheep Yea. Granted, my style tends to end up as comedy, so I might be able gloss over some of that with rule of funny if I wanted to.

@eaglehooves Funny has a place, and that is not in my writings. I wish it did, funny is good. I hope you are good at funny. I also hope my sentences are bigger in the future.
